DFW Sewer Second Opinion Privacy Policy

To receive a decision-support result, you may provide information about your home, sewer symptoms, inspection findings, contractor recommendations, quotes and related decision circumstances. The assessment does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or street address. It includes an optional DFW city or ZIP code field.

Your answers are used to calculate your result when you submit them. The service does not save your assessment answers to its database. To make results shareable, the results page link contains an encoded copy of your answers, so anyone you share that link with can see them.

The assessment does not require an account, sign-up or login.

The service collects privacy-safe technical events needed to operate, secure, measure and improve the application, such as:

• Page/DSA views
• Assessment starts
• Assessment completions
• REST/API use
• Remote MCP use
• WebMCP use
• Successful decision completions
• Application failures

Each event records the event type, the interface used, the resulting decision category (when there is one), a random event identifier and a timestamp. The production telemetry design does not intentionally store raw assessment answers, camera footage, email addresses, phone numbers or street addresses as telemetry.

DFW Sewer Second Opinion can be accessed through human-facing and machine-facing interfaces, including API and AI-agent interfaces. When an AI service uses the tool on a user's behalf, information supplied to that AI service may be transmitted to DFW Sewer Second Opinion as necessary to perform the requested assessment. The AI provider's own privacy practices may separately apply to the user's interaction with that provider.

Information received by the application may be used to:

• Provide the requested decision-support result
• Operate and secure the service
• Diagnose technical failures
• Measure service performance
• Improve reliability and usability

DFW Sewer Second Opinion does not sell personal information. It has no advertising, sponsored contractors, lead selling or referral arrangements.

The application, including its database for telemetry events, is hosted on the Abacus.AI platform. Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare's network. These providers process requests in order to deliver and protect the service, and may handle standard technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information under their own terms.

Assessment answers are not stored by the application after your result is calculated. Telemetry events are kept in the service's database; no fixed retention period has been established, and events may be deleted when they are no longer needed to operate or improve the service.

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect the service and the information it handles, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

The service is intended for adults making household and property decisions and is not directed to children under 13.

This policy may be updated. When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be revised.
